Creamy Vanilla Yogurt Oats

Creamy Vanilla Yogurt Oats


  • 60g (2 oz) quick oats
  • 300ml water (1 ¼  cups)
  • Pinch of salt 
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 100g plain soy yogurt (3.5 oz)



1. Add the oats, water, salt, vanilla and maple syrup into a small pot. Bring to a boil and then simmer while stirring for about 5-10 mins (or until you get a thick texture).

2. Take the pot off the stove and let it cool down for 5-10 mins.

3. Mix in the yogurt, transfer to a bowl, add your favorite toppings and enjoy!.

Tips to make this extra creamy:

Use quick oats! With regular oats you’ll get a chunkier texture even if you cook them for a long time or mix in a little bit of yogurt once your oats are cooked and have cooled down a little!
